EcoHealth Journal Cover Art Competition

EcoHealth journal proudly announces our 4th Biennial International Art Competition sponsored by EcoHealth Alliance. We extend an open invitation to students, graphic artists, and any other interested individuals to participate. Artwork should exemplify the journal themes: One Health and Conservation Medicine; Ecosystem Approaches to Health; and Public Health, Ecosystems, and Society as well as the mission of the International Association for Ecology and Health (IAEH): To strive for sustainable health of people, wildlife, and ecosystems by promoting discovery, understanding, and transdisciplinarity.

The top nominees will be announced during the biennial EcoHealth 2016 conference in Melbourne, Australia from December 3-7, 2016. The winning artwork will receive $1,000. The runners up will receive $500 and $250 for 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Artwork will be judged upon its relevance to the mission of our organization and winners will have a chance to be featured on the cover of upcoming issues of EcoHealth.

Be creative! We welcome all forms of art that can fit on the cover of EcoHealth.

To apply, please submit (a) hi-res TIFF, EPS, or JPG file (or link to it) of your artwork; (b) a 250-word statement about your art and its relevance to EcoHealth and (c) 100-words or more short biography of the artist by October 31, 2016.
